Northern Circuit route Overview
The Northern Circuit Route, also called the “360 Route” or “Kilimanjaro Orbit,” is a scenic, less crowded, and highly recommended Kilimanjaro trek, offering excellent acclimatization and a high success rate. The journey begins with a drive from Moshi to Lemosho Gate, followed by a trek through rainforest, across the Shira Plateau, and a northward loop via Moir Camp, Buffalo Camp, and Third Cave Camp. Climbers on the 9-day trek summit at midnight from School Hut, descending to Mweka Camp, while the 10-day trek includes a sunrise summit and an overnight at Crater Camp before descending. The trek ends with a descent to Mweka Gate, followed by a celebratory return to the hotel.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred for overnight accommodation . Your head guide will meet you for your briefing, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.
