You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 08:00 AM and transferred to Arusha National Park, the smallest yet arguably most picturesque park in northern Tanzania. Despite its compact size, the park offers a diverse range of wildlife and landscapes—from lush forests and open grasslands to sparkling lakes and volcanic craters.
Your game drive through the park may reveal animals such as blue monkeys, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and giraffes. While sightings of elephants and leopards are rare, early mornings and late afternoons offer the best chances of spotting them.
After your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots in the park. Then, embark on a tranquil 2-hour canoe safari along the Momella Lake shoreline, where you'll have the chance to view buffaloes, bushbucks, hippos, giraffes, and an impressive variety of water birds up close.
After this peaceful and memorable experience, you'll be transferred to Moshi, where you’ll spend your final night at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the ancient volcanic caldera, which forms a natural enclosure for an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. The fertile crater floor supports nearly every species found in East Africa, from grazing herbivores like zebras and wildebeest to powerful predators such as lions and hyenas. Keep your eyes open for rare black rhinos and majestic elephants with enormous tusks.
Enjoy your picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool picnic site, where you can relax while watching hippos wallow in the water.
In the afternoon, continue your game drive as you explore this unique landscape—dotted with open plains, acacia forests, and wetlands—before ascending the crater rim and heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
