After an early breakfast, set off with your picnic lunch for a truly unique cultural encounter. Today, you’ll visit one of the last remaining Hadza (Hadzabe) bushmen tribes, a community of only around 2,000 people who have preserved their traditional way of life for generations, living off the land as hunter-gatherers.
You’ll witness a demonstration of traditional hunting techniques, led by local Hadza hunters. This is not a performance but an authentic look into their daily survival practices—an opportunity to understand how they hunt and forage to sustain their families.
Nearby, you’ll also visit the Datoga tribe, a Nilotic-speaking pastoralist group who inhabit the same region along Lake Eyasi. Your visit includes a guided tour of their homesteads and an introduction to their customs, including animal tracking, the use of medicinal plants, and other ancestral knowledge.

The journey continues as you make your way to the Serengeti, where the awe-inspiring Great Wildebeest Migration awaits. Your base will be one of the Kati Kati Tented Camps, a mobile camp that strategically moves with the migration to offer you the best possible wildlife encounters. From July to October, the camp is positioned in the northern Serengeti; from December to March, it shifts to the Ndutu Plains in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area; and for the rest of the year, it resides in the Central Serengeti.
This mobility places you right along the animal corridors, offering an unmatched connection to the rhythms of the wild.
You'll explore the plains with your private guide and vehicle, gaining insights from someone who follows the migration nearly year-round and deeply understands the movement and behavior of the wildlife.
Evenings are spent around the campfire, enjoying hearty meals and sharing stories beneath a starlit skyan authentic safari tradition that adds to the magic of your journey.

After breakfast, begin your drive to the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most remarkable natural wonders. This vast, unbroken caldera is not only the largest of its kind in the world but also recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Here, you’ll experience a truly unique blend of dramatic landscapes, dense wildlife populations, and cultural heritage.
Descend into the crater for a morning game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot a wide range of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and—if you’re lucky—the endangered black rhino. The crater’s lush floor is also a haven for birds and grazing herbivores.
At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic Site, a scenic spot where you can relax while observing hippos in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue your wildlife viewing as you ascend back up the crater rim.
Later in the day, you’ll be transferred to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.
